linia 2014-07-03 'SYNAGOGUE' CENTER IN ZAMOSC

On July 3, 2014, a Bar Mitzvah ceremony took place in the renovated synagogue building in Zamosc. It was the first Bar Mitzvah in Zamosc since World War II.

The event was organized by the Wisnik family of New York, whose ancestors originated from Zamosc area, in cooperation with the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish  Heritage in Poland and the Forum of Dialogue Between the Nations. Participating in the Bar Mitzvah was Jacob A. Wisnik, son of Eva and Robert Wisnik.
