Who are we

H. Sienkiewicz High School No. XII in Warsaw

What we do in the project

We want to make the former Jewish street in Warsaw, Sienna, a symbolic space telling about its multicultural heritage not only to the students of our school, but also to the inhabitants of Warsaw.
To fulfill this objective we will act on many different planes, including: discovering and popularize the knowledge of a pre-war history of Sienna, the history of the "little ghetto", photo documentation of the neighbourhood reminding the multicultural past of the Wola district, create tourist paths through the Jewish-related locations in Warsaw (from the closest ones, on Sienna street, to those located on the eastern bord of Wisła river. Finally we are looking forward to discover the Jewish culture through the movies, on the meetings of school's movie discussion club.
