What we do in the project

Project: My Small Homeland

From October 2005 pupils from Tarnobrzeg collected information on the history of the Jews in Tranobrzeg, they contacted various public institutions (including the History Museum in Tarnobrzeg). Thanks to their work they managed to gather research information which they presented to their class colleagues during The 2nd Cultural Forum organised by their school together with the town authorities.

The Forum took place from the 22nd till the 24th of February 2006, everyday a different issue was discussed. The first day was called " My Small Homeland in National History and Literature ", the second day - "The Short History of a Certain Meeting - Jewish Culture, Tradition and Devotional Rituals", and the third was called " Regional Culture - the Confrontation Between Past and Present."
