STASZOW - Public Middle School No. 2

What we do in the project

Students from the Public Middle School no 2 in Staszow work on their project during the history lessons. First of all - they take care of the local Jewish cemetery. Together with their teacher, Mr. Dariusz Kubalski, they've discovered the matzevot that were taken away from the cemetery. They have already discovered many of them and are now making efforts to transfer them back to the cemetery.
Students also published a brochure on the history and culture of the Staszów Jews and on the cemetery.
