During the meeting with the book's author, Dr. Natalia Judzińska, we will discuss the topic of benches ghetto, which operated in Poland since 1935. We will search for Zamość themes, such as the story of Rywka Profitkier, a teacher at the I.L. Perec Jewish Primary School in Zamość. This will be a starting point for a conversation about anti-Semitism, the Holocaust, preserving memory and local heritage, as well as present issues.
We invite you on behalf of the organizers: Marek Kołcon and Daniel Sabaciński.
The event will take place on August 21, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the FODŻ "Synagogue" Center at ul. Pereca 14 in Zamość.
