The guests were greeted by Dr. Marian Drosio- Silesian Curator for Education. The first lecture was held by the Head Inspector of the Ministry of Education, Ewa Repsch. Next speaker, Dr. Anna Gomóła of the Silesian University in Katowice, presented the goals of the cultural education. The lecture by Dr. Krystyna Dyba entitled ”Regionalism in the global village” attracted the attention of the guests, and Marek Szafraniec concluded the first part of the conference with his lecture on the importance of the Webquests in the promotion of the cultural heritage. The second, workshop part of the conference “The multicultural richness of the Silesian voivodeship”, was dedicated to the presentation of the most interesting Webquests related to the matter of the multicultural education. During this part the representatives of our school presented our project and our achievements.
