We organized a trip to the nearby Wegrow. Before the war half of this town's population was Jewish. We found most of the information in the town's public library. We were reading old memories, letters and press articles, watched maps and old pictures. After the war many streets changed their names. Typical Jewish streets of prewar Wegrow were: Berka Joselewicza, Kominiarska, Bożnicza, Jatkowa, Tylna, Garbarska, Starogarbarska, Błonie Żydowskie, Przejazd Hilarego and the nonexisting plac Bożniczy (Synagogue Square). We found the places where the Old and New Synagogues were standing, and we visited a neglected Rabbi's house.
