Passover and Easter - two merry spring holidays, observed in almost the same time by two different religions. We realized how limited is our knowledge of Jewish holidays and meals that were served during the celebrations.
Between April 13 and 14 the students of 1st class of the Mechanic School from the Centre for Professional Education in Wysokie Mazowieckie participated in the regional training in Bialystok, organized by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland.

April 19 is celebrated in Poland and throughout the world as Holocaust Memorial Day, to commemorate the victims of the Shoah. Its date is related to the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, which started on April 19, 1943.
In 2007 Yom HaShoah was celebrated in Wysokie Mazowieckie’s Center for Professional Education.

The action was taken by 1st year students of the Mechanic School from te Centre for Professional Education in Wysokie Mazowieckie, under the supervision of Karol Glebocki.
