New Jewish cemetery in Horodlo was established in 19th century. It is located on a smallish hill about 250 meters from Roman-Catholic cemetery. There are legible traces of earthwork surrounding the cemetery – but there are no fragments of matzevot left. The area is 0.46 ha. Old Jewish cemetery in Horodlo is located in Wieniawka village, in vicinity of a manor-house, about 1.5 kilometers from the Main Square in Horodlo, on northern side of the road. There is one matzeva left, with inscription in Hebrew. The cemetery was functioning from second half of 16th to the beginning of 19th century when a new cemetery was established. The area was 0.3 ha. |
