Jewish cemetery in Ilow was located in 1750, when first Jews arrived to town. In 1921 there were 347 Jews in the town. Last burials were registered in 1939-1945. The cemetery was destroyed during Word War II; today there are no fragments of matzevot left. In 1939-194 the Nazis used the matzevot as pavements. The cemetery is 1.5 ha. |
