Jewish cemetery in Kamionka is located on Nowa St. about 1.5 kilometers on north-east from the Main Square. The cemetery was established in the first half of 19th century. At the same time firs Jews settled in the locality. In 1921 Kamionka was in 24.6 % inhabited by people of Jewish origin. The last burial was registered in 1944. During World War II the cemetery was devastated. Today on unfenced and overgrown with thicket cemetery there are 6 matzevot left. The area is 0.7 ha. More information: |
