  Kazimierz Dolny, lubelskie

Old Jewish cemetery located on Lubelska St. was established before 1568 and the last burials were registered in 19th century. First Jews settled in Kazimierz in 15th century. The cemetery was destroyed during World War II, today there is no trace left after it. On the terrain there is a school sports field, surrounded by a stone wall. The area is 0.5 ha.

New Jewish cemetery is located near Czerniawy St. It was established in 1851. The last burial was registered in 1942. The cemetery is situated behind the lapidarium, erected in 1985 from fragments of 600 matzevot. Part of them probably originates from the old cemetery on
Lubelska St. They were saved by the workers putting them as pavement as Nazis ordered but with inscriptions to the ground (the occupiers wanted them outside, in order to disappear). The area is 0.64 ha. More information:
