Old Jewish cemetery in Konskowola is located on Spokojna St. It was established in the second half of 16th century. In 1921 there were 876 Jewish inhabitants in the town. The last burial took place in 1942. During Word War II the cemetery was devastated, there are no fragments of matzevot left. The area is 0.5 ha. New Jewish cemetery in Konskowola is located east of Wojtowiczow St. It was established in the end of 18th century. The last burial took place in 1942. During World War II the cemetery was devastated and today only one matzeva is left – it’s in Pulawy’s museum. Part of the matzevot was used as building material. The area of the cemetery is 1 ha. |
