Jewish cemetery in Kozienice located on Radomska St. was established in 1627. In 1921 55.4% of town’s population was of Jewish origin. The last burial took place in 1943. Today there are about 200 matzevot left. The cemetery is 5.9 ha. There is an ohel of tzaddik Israel Hopstein. The cemetery was fenced thanks to the support of Rabbi Mendel Reichberg and the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage.
