New Jewish cemetery in Krasnik on Gory St. was established in the first half of 19th century. During World War II Germans devastated the cemetery. Matzevot were used to hardening the roads. Today several dozen broken tombstones are to be seen on the cemetery. The terrain is surrounded by stone wall. In the place of mass executions there is an obelisk with Hebrew inscriptions. The area is 1.82 ha. Old Jewish cemetery located on Strazacka St. was established in second half of 17th century and closed down in 19th. First Jews began to settle in Krasnik during the 16th century. In 1593 in town there was a wooden synagogue. In 1921 in Krasnik there lived 4200 Jews – 50.6 % of total population. The old cemetery was destroyed during World War II. There are no fragments of matzevot left. Today there is a park on the location. The area is 0.7 ha. Jewish cemetery located on Podwalna St. was functioning in 16th-18th century. During World War II Germans completely devastated the cemetery. There are no fragments of matzevot left.
