Jewish cemetery located on Poznanska St. was established in second half of 18th century. First Jews began to settle there about 1564. In 1921 in Krosniewice there were 1259. During Word War II Nazis devastated the cemetery. Today there are no matzevot left. In local museum there are 5 fragments of tombstones brought from the cemetery. The necropolis is 0.77 ha. |
