Jewish cemetery located on Czechowskiego St. was established in 17th century. First Jews began to settle in town in 1676. In 1921 Lipsko was inhabited by 1376 of them. The last burial took place in 1942. The cemetery was devastated during World War II. Today there are no fragments of matzevot left. On the place now there is a park. The cemetery is 1.5 ha. |
