The Jewish cemetery in Biezun was founded in 19th century. It was destroyed during the War and no gravestones or fence remained.
In 2004 there was an agreement with Biezun governors signed. Due to this settlement Biezun administration will take care of the cemetery - fence it, clean it up and bring back the matzevot that remained the War. Two of them are being kept by Biezun Museum.
The cemetery acreage is 0,72ha.
