2012-08-28 EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AT THE ‘SYNAGOGUE’ CENTER
Starting in September the ‘Synagogue’ Center of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland launches a series of workshops for school students from Zamosc and vicinity. Participants will learn about the history and culture of Zamosc Jews in an interesting and innovative way through active methods of education. Workshops will take place in the building of the Renaissance synagogue in Zamosc.
Classes will be led by volunteers trained within the framework of the project Creating a team of cultural animators for the ‘Synagogue’ Center, who participated in numerous workshops and lectures. They have used the acquired knowledge and skills to create unusual workshops, during which educational content will be provided through interesting activities.
The project Creating a team of cultural animators for the ‘Synagogue’ Center is implemented in cooperation with the ‘Well of Memory’ Association and the Center for Jewish History and Culture of the State Higher School of Vocational Education in Zamosc.
