The "Synagogue" Center of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland invites you to a reading of memories of Kurt I. Lewin from Lviv and Rawa Ruska.
Excerpts from the book will be read by:
- Andrzej Zastapiło - vice-president of the City of Zamosc,
- Małgorzata Bzówka - Director of the Department of Culture and Sport of the City of Zamosc,
- Marzena Tadeusz - Director of the Fine Art High School in Zamosc along with her student - Dominika Bober,
- Dominika Lipska - from the "Turystyka z Pasją" Association.
The musical setting will be provided by the students of The Karol Szymanowski I and II degree State School of Music in Zamosc (www.psmzam.pl):

- Sylwia Molas - cello - a student of Mr. Piotr Pieniak,
- Diana Śliwińska - clarinet - a student of Mr. Józef Tokarz,

Kurt I. Lewin - the son of Dr. Jecheskiel Lewin, rabbi of Lvov. He was born in Lubaczow in 1925. He spent the World War II in the occupied Lvov, and Rawa Ruska. He was rescued with the help of Metropolitan Andrzej Szeptycki and his brother Klemens. After the war he lived in Israel and the USA.
