Bernardo Morando Fine Arts School in Zamość and the "Synagogue" Center of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland invite you to the post-competition exhibition for fine arts students dedicated to the memory of Irena Sendler "Whoever saves one life - saves the whole world."
Works submitted for the competition were made by using various techniques and present an individual view of the subject and history of the Holocaust. However, they have one common denominator - the person of Irena Sendler.
Irena Sendler was a Polish social activist, head of the children's section of Polish Council to Aid Jews. With her team she managed to save about 2,500 Jewish children during the Second World War. Decorated with the medal "Righteous Among the Nations".
The exhibition will be presented until the end of April 2018.
The opening of the exhibition and the presentation of awarded works will take place on April 17th, 2018 at 12:00 pm at the "Synagogue" Center.
