"Survived music" - a concert dedicated to composers of Jewish origin.
The Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland and The Polonia Music Art Foundation are pleased to invite you to a concert dedicated to Polish and Czech Jewish composers - victims of the Holocaust. The program will consist of rarely performed musical works by: Józef Koffler, Marian Neuteich, Gideon Klein, Hans Krasa and, additionally, a composition by Benjamin Lees from 1998 dedicated to victims of pogroms and genocide. Not all of which have been presented to the Polish public
The members of the Art Chamber Ensemble gathered around the violinist Jarosław Pietrzak: Julita Przybylska-Nowak - piano, Ewelina Korczakowska - violin, Dominika Luteńko - violin, Anna Wałek - violin, Adrianna Mołocznik – viola and Weronika Strugała - cello.
Concert will be preceded with a lecture about music by Gniewomir Zajączkowski. With this event, we want to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
The concert will take place in the "Synagogue" Center of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland on Sunday, August 5th, 2018 at 6pm. Free entrance.
