"At night on the Old Market Square" - Zamość reading of the stage by Icchok Lejb Perec

S. K. Zamoyski Library in Zamość, Kornel Makuszyński Youth Culture Center in Zamość and the "Synagogue" Center of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland have the honor to invite to the reading of the drama by Icchok Leib Perec "On the Old Market Square" translated by Horacy Safrin and directed by Piotr Johaniuk.

The reading will take place on November 22, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the "Synagogue" Center FODŻ.

We invite you to listen to the Perec's drama in a climate of Jewish folklore, where reality meets with magic, which action takes place at the Old Market Square in Zamość.

Admission to the event is free.

A copy of Perec's script from the collections of the Zamość Library was given to us by the kindness of Mrs. Gołda Tencer, director of the Esther Rachel and Ida Kamiński Jewish Theater in Warsaw.
