For the second time, our synagogue will host the Living Library, organized by the Lokalnie i Globalnie Association from Zamość.
On Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10:00 am, we invite everyone to meetings and talks with people exposed to discrimination, who are affected by stereotypes or prejudices. These people are Living Books that can be borrowed.
During this edition of the Living Library in Zamość, you will be able to talk with: Atheist, Feminist, Gay, Blind person, Disabled person, Person with depression and anxiety disorder, Person with experience of domestic violence, Person in wheelchair - communicating with AAC, Sober Alcoholic, Organizer of women's rights strikes, Person after attempted suicide, Person suffering from agoraphobia and a Ukrainian.
The partners of the event are the Association of Social Diversity "UP-Date" and the Center "Synagoga" of the Foudation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland.
The Living Library is organized as part of the "Living Library - a new development perspective" project supported by the Civic Fund managed by the Foundation for Poland.
