In April 2022, at the "Synagogue" Center of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, we will be presenting an exhibition of paintings by Magdalena Gedroyć entitled "Ukojenie" (Relief).
The artist organizes her works around the figure of a human, usually a woman. Isolated from the chaos of the world around us. Often accompanied by animals: cat, dog, birds. This allows us to understand the way of arranging our own reality in a specific way: in reflection and thoughtfulness of the presented characters. Magdalena Gedroyć presents everyday life "relief" and the specific relationship between man, nature and space.
Magdalena Gedroyć was born in 1975. She is a graduate of the State Fine Arts High School in Zamość. In 2003 she graduated from the Faculty of Arts at UMCS with a diploma in graphics - lithography workshop in the studio of professor Piotr Lech. She works with oil and watercolors. Lives and works in Roztocze region.
"Ukojenie" is a very intimate exhibition, so we gave up the traditional opening. However, we invite you to the exhibition "open day", which will be held on Tuesday, April 12.
The exhibition will be on display until the end of the month at the FODŻ "Synagogue" Center at Pereca 14 St. in Zamość.
