December 15, 2023 is the 124th anniversary of the birth of Stefan Sendłak. He was a Zamość councilor, socialist activist, member of the Polish Socialist Party, the founder of the Zamość-Lublin Committee to Help Jews, then a member of "Żegota", awarded the title of Righteous Among the Nations.

This Friday, on behalf of the Organizers (Janusz Kupczyk - Zamość City Councilor and FODŻ "Synagogue" Center), we invite you to events commemorating Stefan Sendłak.

At 17:00 (5:00 pm) a lecture by Dr. Janusz Kłapeć presenting the person of Stefan Sendłak will take place in our synagogue.

Before this, at 15:30 (3:30 pm) Organizers planned a meeting at Stefan Sendłak's square. (Partyzantów street, next to the "Brama Lwowska" bus stop).
