From August 15th through September 6th, 2011 an exhibition of drawings by Krzysztof Suszek, belonging to the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland was presented in the Szczebrzeszyn Cultural Center
www.mdk.szczebrzeszyn.pl (the former synagogue building, 3Sadowa St.) The exhibition, consisting of 26 works, was lent by the Foundation to become one of the main attractions of the Jewish, Orthodox and Catholic Culture Days, which took place between August 19th and 21st in Szczebrzeszyn.
Krzysztof Suszek is an artist by passion and an employee of the Poczta Polska (Polish public post service) by profession. For the last 10 years he has been organizing exhibitions of his works - the effects of his fascination with Polish religious architecture. The latest works of the artist are originated in his encounter with Jewish culture and architecture, which allowed him to discover new ways of artistic expression.
