New Jewish cemetery located on Cicha St. was established in 1819. The last burial took place in 1943. During World War II the cemetery was destroyed. Today within its borders there are about 30 tombstones – the oldest one from 1848. Israeli groups visiting the place planted some trees in the ’60 of the 20th century. In 1988 from broken fragment of the matzevot a memorial – lapidarium was made. The area of the cemetery is 1.17 ha.

Old Jewish cemetery was located on Zabia St. It was established in second half of 16th century. The first Jews began to settle in the town in 1567; in 1592 a Jewish community was established. In between-the-wars- period in town lived 3209 Jews – 54 % of the population. At the end of 19th century Germans have completely destroyed the cemetery. Today there are no fragments of matzevot left. The terrain of 0.5 ha was built over.
