On February 9th, 2010 a representative of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland participated in the ceremony of "Bringing back the memory of Poles who were saving Jews during the Shoah", which finalized the celebrations of the International Day of Holocaust Victims Remembrance in Rzeszow. The celebrations were organized in partership with the Foundation by the Rzeszow University, the Dominican Closter, the Institute of National Remembrance and the Teachers Education Center of the Pokarpackie Province. The patron of the "Bringing back the memory" ceremony was the President of Poland, Mr. Lech Kaczynski.
