On February 15th, 2010 a representative of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland met with the representatives of the Polish-Jewish Literature Department of the Catholic University of Lublin. The aim of the meeting was to discuss details of cooperation within the framework of the “Revitalization of the Renaissance synagogue in Zamosc for the needs of the Chassidic Route and the local community” project. The University is one of the Foundation's partners, which after the completion of restoration works will conduct cultural, educational and academic activites in the synagogue.
