On February 23, 2010 a representative of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland delivered a lecture about Jewish culture and history for the inmates of the correctional facility in Krasnystaw. This is a result of Foundation's partnership in Polish and Israeli Prison Services' project "Tikkun - Restoration". In the spring the prisoners from Krasnystaw will carry out clean up works at the Jewish cemetery in Izbica.
