The Public Prosecutor’s Office in Praga Polnoc district of Warsaw informed the Foundation about its decision to discontinue the investigation of the case of devastation of the Jewish cemetery in Brodno district. Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland notified the authorities of a possible desecration of a place of worship on March 5, 2010.

The decision was justified by the fact that the authorities investigated this case twice in the past years - both times on Foundation's request - with no result. The Foundation will submit a complaint to the District Court regarding this decision.
