2010-05-13 WARSAW
On May 13, 2010 a monument of the Evacuation of the Warsaw Ghetto Fighters was ceremonially unveiled at 51 Prosta St. in Warsaw. It commemorates a brave escape of a dozen Jewish fighters under a command of Simcha Rotem “Kazik” from the ruins of the ghetto on May 10, 1943. Representatives of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland took part in the ceremony. » back |
