On May 14th 2010 in Krasnik representatives of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland met with representatives of the Town Authorities, the Town Public Library, the Center of Culture and Promotion, the "Za Brama" Foundation and the Volutary Work Center. The aim of the meeting was to prepare an activity program for the cultural center that will be established in the synagogues after their restoration.

Currently the Foundation is finalizing works on completing the architectural and design documentation of the buildings. In the summer of 2010 we will therefore be able to apply for an European Union grant for restoring the synagogues within the framework of the Regional Operational Program of the Lubelskie province.
