On May 9, 2010, the Israeli English-language biweekly newsmagazine "The Jerusalem Report" published an article on the initiative of a local civic group from Sokolow Malopolski. Working in cooperation with the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, the youth members of the Sokolow Region Lovers Society have cleaned up the Jewish cemetery in Sokolow.
