On January 17th-18th, 2011 a representative of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland met with Zamosc partners of the project "Revitalization of the Renaissance synagogue in Zamosc for the needs of the Chassidic Route and the local community": representatives of the Artistic Exhibitions Agency, the Fine Arts High School, the Karol Namyslowski Symphonic Orchestra, the Zamosc University of Management and Administration as well as the of the Culture and Promotion Department of the Municipal Council and the Zamosc Museum. The meetings were devoted to creating a program of cultural activities that will be carried out in the synagogue after its opening on April 5th, 2011.
The construction and conservation works in the Zamosc synagogue were carried out within the framework of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland project "REVITALIZATION OF THE RENAISSANCE SYNAGOGUE IN ZAMOSC FOR THE NEEDS OF THE CHASSIDIC ROUTE AND THE LOCAL COMMUNITY" supported by a grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.
