On March 29, 2011, a group of Israeli students visited Knyszyn. The guests worked at the local Jewish cemetery along with Polish students from Knyszyn and Monki, toured the town and took part in integration workshops in the School Complex in Monki. The meeting was co-organized by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland within the frameworkk of the ‘Haverim – Friends. Polish-Jewish youth meetings’ project.
