The Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland has installed new memorial plaques at the Jewish cemetery in Żuromin in cooperation with the Żuromin Landmanshaft (USA). The plaques list the names of Jewish families living in Żuromin before the war - this is our way of restoring their memory, since no gravestones survive at the cemetery.

The official unveiling of the plaques took place on April 14th, 2011, in the presence of descendants of Żuromin's Jews from the USA (family ceremony).
