Cleanup works are underway on Jewish Cemetery in Dzierzoniow, carried out by the inmates of the local Penitentiary Facility, who are also engaged in restoration works in the town’s synagogue. The work are carried out within the framework of the Polish and Israeli Prison Services project “Tikkun – Restoration”. The Foundation for Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland is a partner of the project.
