Thanks to the intervention of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, burial remains discovered during the earth works carried out on the grounds of the Jewish cemetery in Czluchow were properly secured. The cemetery in Czluchow was established in the 18th century and no tombstones were preserved on its grounds, which were partially built over. In 2007 a memorial plaque was unveiled on the cemetery, commemorating Jews who were buried there.
