On January 27th, 2012 to honor the International Holocaust Remembrance Day workshops entitled ‘The Holocaust in the Zamosc region in testimonies of witnesses’ took place at the 'Synagogue' Center of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland. They were led by a coach from the Museum – Memorial Site in Belzec; 120 students from three Zamosc high schools participated in the workshops.

Between January 4th and January 27th, 2012 an exhibition entitled ‘Every Victim Has A Name’, prepared by the Museum – Memorial Site in Belzec was presented at the 'Synagogue' Center. The exhibition presented stories of selected victims of the extermination camp in Belzec and thus symbolically commemorated the 500 000 Jews murdered there.
