As part of a series of events entitled “Warsaw of Two Uprisings”, organized by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, the Museum of Warsaw Uprising and the Stefan Starzynski Institute, on April 19, 2012 a debate entitled “One City – Two Uprisings. Common memory?” took place. Participating were Piotr Kadlcik, leader of the Warsaw’s Jewish Community, Anna Cialowicz – ethnologist and editor of the Community’s bulletin, and Dariusz Gawin, Vice-Director of the Museum of the Warsaw Uprising and member of the College of the Political Theology.
