On August 14, 2012, a ceremony of the unveiling of a memorial plaque took place on the Jewish cemetery in Zambrow. Participating were the representatives of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, Union of Jewish Communities in Poland, Town and Voivody officials, Prison Service, Police, citizens of Zambrow and volunteers from the USA, who between August 13-17 carry out cleanup works on the cemetery grounds.

The Zambrow cemetery renovation project is being realized by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland and The Matzevah Foundation during 2012-2013. The memorial plaque was funded by The Matzevah Foundation and Michael H. Traison Fund for Poland.
