In September 2012 the representatives of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland met with the members of the board of the Port Lotniczy Radom SA company, in order to examine matzevot fragments, which were discovered in the Radom airport during construction works. The tombstone pieces were later transported to and secured at the Jewish cemetery in Radom.

The Foundation is currently raising funds to build a lapidarium, where they could be properly displayed. All parties and individuals interested in supporting the project are cordially invited to contact the Foundation’s office.
