In November 2013 cleanup works were carried out on the Jewish cemetery in Ilza thanks to the efforts of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland and the descendants of local Jews.
The cemetery has been cleaned up and fenced in 2006 by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, the Polish Jewish Cemetery Restoration Project and the Drildzer Congregation and Society, which associates descendants of the Ilza Jews. » back
