On November 30th, 2013 in the Kubicki Arcades of the Royal Castle in Warsaw, in the cinema hall of the Historical Book Fair a meeting with Anna Dobrowolska, author of the book  ‘Photographer from Auschwitz’ took place. It is a book about Wilhelm Brasse, who took over 50 thousand photos of Auschwitz prisoners. The book is based on an interview with Brasse which has also been a base for an award-winning documentary ‘The portraitist’, produced in 2005. The Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland is a partner of the publication.
