On June 29, 2014, the 17th “Preserving Memory” annual ceremony took place in the Jewish Galicia Museum in Cracow. Its goal is to honor Polish citizens and organizations who willingly engage themselves into preserving Jewish Heritage in Poland. Among this year’s recipients of the award were the cooperatives of the Foundation: “Ekosan” Association of Dwikozy, Shtetl Dukla Association of Dukla, “Wloszczowa – Stop Podzialom” Association of Wloszczowa and the mayor of Lelow.
Partnering in the project are: Embassy of Israel, Jewish Culture Festival in Cracow, Michael Traison Fund for Poland, Jewish Historical Institute, the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, the Jewish Community of Kraków, Jewish Museum Galicia and the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage.
