On July 16, 2014, an unusual ceremony took place in the synagogue in Lancut. A new parochet, funded by the Bezeq delegation from Israel, will be ceremonially unveiled. Installation of a parochet in the synagogue is a symbolic act of bringing it back to its primary function - a place of prayer.
