Thanks to the cooperation of the Regional Society of Knyszyn and the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, the project „Discovering the Jewish cemetery in Knyszyn” was completed. Within its framework the Jewish cemetery in Knyszyn was cleaned up, a pedestrian path leading to the cemetery was completed, an information plaque was installed next to the cemetery, and a guide was published in the web. The project was financed by the European Union, the Town Office of Knyszyn and the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland. » back |
