Thanks to the intervention of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, a shopping center will not be built on the grounds of the Jewish cemetery in Przeworsk.

 The cemetery, established in the 18th century, was destroyed by the Germans during the World War II. After the war a bus station was built on the cemetery grounds.
